How do I order my Installation?
All installations are booked in with you "customer", at a time and date that both company "KerbSafe" & customer "you" agree and written confirmation has been given by the customer
How long will I have to wait for my bollard installation?
We would normally do our very best to have you order completed within 7 working days or after that if the customers requires it. However, installations could take longer if the demand is high. But we do try our very best to install when its required!
What areas do we cover?
We generally cover the whole of the Southeast, but we do also travel further afield, You can use the postcode checker tool to see if we cover your area.

What's covered within the installation charge?
The installation price includes all estimated costs as quoted, travel, labour, and materials required to complete your installation. Any such unforeseen costs would be discussed and agreed by the customer and installation crew.
Do we offer bulk discounts for multiple installations of the same product at the same or multiple locations ?
Yes we absolutely do. Multiple installations of the same or different products at the same location will qualify for a discount based on the quantity of installations you plan to order. Discounts are will be agreed at time of quotation and given in writing.
Can I ask for a specific date for my installation?
Yes, definitely. If that particular date/time is available you can have that slot. All installation dates & times are agreed beforehand.
Will my installer contact me or do I contact them?
The company will contact you directly by phone or text when the installation team are on the way with an ETA. Our team will have your contact details with them if they need to give any updated ETA or problems.
Do I have to be on site when the installation team arrives?
Yes. The person responsible for the order or a delegated person must be on site when your installation team arrive on site. Although your assigned team will have all of the necessary information , diagrams and products to do the work, they would expect all to be agreed again on the day and also to sigh the work off once finished and accept the keys to your product(s).
Will I have to wait for my installer to finish or can I go out?
If you need to go out or be somewhere else during the work and have to leave, we would ask that you communicate this with the team leader before you leave, but you or the representative must be there on completion.
Will my product(s) be with the installation team or do you post it / them before the arrive?
All products will be with the installation team. They will normally carry spares in case of damage or if more are required on the day.
Do we carry out installations other than Southeast of England?
Yes we do! Although our main coverage area is the Southeast, we would consider anywhere in mainland England. Please ask us through our contact page

Do we carry out installations on Saturdays, Sundays, and bank holidays?
Yes. Although we do our best to only carry out installations Mon-Fri, we do understand that some customers are only available weekends etc. We are very flexible and try our very best to accommodate every customer.
Is the company and our installation teams fully insured?
All of our installation teams and company are fully insured with a public / liability of up
to £5m. This insurance covers all third parties and ground works down to a depth of 1500cm
Do we guarantee every installation?
Yes. Every installation is guaranteed not to fail for a period of 12 months, this is provided that nothing has collided with bollard (s) and that the company have been informed. This guarantee also applies to materials & workmanship.
Will my team check for any underground services before they start work?
We consider the checking for cable / utilities CAT scan to be a vital part of the installation, so every job is visually inspected and a scan is always carried out. Any potential problems are reported to the customer and head office. Alternative options are then given you the customer.
Will my installation team remove the excavated spoil and all waste from the site when they are finished?
Yes they will, removal of the excavated spoil and waste is all part of the job. All waste & spoil is disposed of at the companies waste facility.
Will I still be charged if underground services prevent deep ground excavation?
There is NO charge if we cannot carryout the work due to underground services, However, the installation team would if possible offer alternative solutions or, you can either cancel your order or choose an alternative product. There would be an aborted installation charge of £65 will apply for what we call an aborted site visit.
Will my team provide their own electricity and water?
Yes they will, all of our installation teams are fully equipped and self contained. They will provide their own water and electricity to complete the work.
Are all of the materials included in the installation charge?
Absolutly yes. Our teams carry all materials on board the vehicles. There are no additional charges unless agreed buy the customer and head office.
I have purchased my product from a different retailer, would we install this?
Yes, but only on inspection and agreement. We cannot give any guarantee for your product, only for our work and materials.
Can I request an alternative product if my installation can't be completed?
Yes. Should this ever happen, and the team have exhausted every effort to install your original product(s), we would offer you an alternative solution. There may be an abort charge of £65.00 to cover costs if you choose not to accept an alternative solution.
Is there an extra charge to remove an existing bollard?
Yes there is. This would normally be agreed at the quotation stage, but should happen any non agreed additional charged must be accepted by the customer and head office before any additional work is carried out.
Can I have a surface mounted bollard or post onto a Tarmac surface?
Yes you can. Your installation team will carry all of the necessary fixings for the surface you have but you need a concrete block installed to take a fixings and give the bollard strength. The team will advise you on this.
How long does it take to install a basic telescopic bollard?
This will vary from job to job and will depend on the type of material on the site. Under normal circumstances, a telescopic bollard would be installed within 1-2 hours. Heavy duty 'LARGE' bollards can take longer, due to the larger size of the bollards and installation depth & width required.
How long does it take to install a surface mounted parking post?
You should expect a single surface mounted parking post to be installed within 1 hour providing that the surface is sound for fixings, a concrete pad may be needed that takes another hour.
Can I use my product(s) straight away once the installation is completed?
We do use fast setting concrete and Under normal circumstances yes you can use your product(s) as soon as they are installed, however we would normally ask that care is taken for the first 24 hours. Failure to do this may put your guarantee at risk. The installation tea team advise you otherwise..
